Experience
Jae Cho is a Founding Member and Co-Managing Partner of Vaturi and Cho LLP in Toronto. As a multifaceted legal leader, he heads the firm’s Personal Injury practice group while also overseeing the Real Estate and Corporate Commercial divisions.
Jae acts as a dedicated advocate for injured parties, helping them navigate complex legal landscapes to resolve their disputes efficiently and equitably. Prior to co-founding Vaturi and Cho LLP, Jae established a reputation for excellence in civil litigation. His extensive experience has given him unique insight into the claims process, allowing him to secure strong results for his clients.
Personal Injury & Litigation Practice Jae acts primarily on behalf of Plaintiffs in serious personal injury and disability claims. He has successfully represented individuals and families in high-stakes litigation. His expertise is invaluable for mediating and resolving complex, multimillion-dollar claims. In addition to his Personal Injury and litigation practice, Jae leads the firm’s groups in Real Estate and Corporate Commercial law. In 2020, Jae appeared in the MBC documentary More Live Today Morning, where he addressed public safety issues regarding the obstruction of firefighting trucks due to illegal parking. In 2024, he was featured in the SBS investigative documentary I Want to Know That. The episode, titled “967 Days of Detention and the Missing Trial,” shed light on a high-profile case involving a Korean national who endured 32 months of wrongful imprisonment in Canada.

Education
Jae earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the Faculty of Law at the University of Western Ontario in 2011. Prior to his legal studies, he graduated from Trinity College at the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science in 2005.
Demonstrating his commitment to continuous growth and diverse perspectives, Jae is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity at Knox College, part of the Toronto School of Theology at the University of Toronto.
